オーストラリアで今日から公開の『ソウルサーファー』
べサニーという女性が少女だった時、
サーフィン中にサメに手を噛まれ腕を失ったという実話を元にして
作られた映画だそうです。

A movie is called soul surfer has been on since today at cinemas.
This is based on true story of bethany hamilton of hawaii.

私は彼女が事故の後に書いた本『ソウルサーファー』を読んだことがあります。
日本語版もあるのかな？？
大人になってからではなく、また１３か４の少女の頃に書かれた本なのだけど、
その年齢でこの事故に遭いながらこんな考え方をするなんて！と
びっくりするほど強い女性で、とっても元気をもらいました。
ポジティブな女性です。

I have read her book which was written by herself after the accident.
She was only 13 or 14 then but she was very matuar and I couldnt believe how strong she was.
She sounds like very positive lady I have got power from her book.

ちなみに彼女は、彼女のスポンサーのリップカールというサーフィンの会社が主催の時は、
WCT（サーフィンの世界戦）に参加しているよ。

She sometimes joins the wct when it is on by ripcurl which is her sponcer.

サーフィンってパドルといって水泳みたいに自分の手で水をかき分けて
沖まで出て波を捕まえたり、
ボードの上に立ち上がったり、波に乗っている時も
両手が必要な部分ってほとんどなのに、
それを片手でこなす。
しかも、前にライディングを見たことあるけど、
信じられないくらい大きな大きな波でもサーフィンするの！
すごいねぇ。

We needs both hands to surf.
We needs hands to paddle out  to catch waves to stand up on the waves.
She is doing that with one hand.
I have watched her surfing on video she was taking of and riding huge huge waves!!!
anbelievable!!!!!she is great.

映画って疲れるからいつもDVDが出るのを待って自宅で見るのだけど、
もしDVDが出ないのなら映画を見に行きたいなぁ。

I dont like watching movie at cinema it makes me tired.
so I always wait until it become DVD to watch at home.
If the movie wont be DVD i would like to go cinema to watch this.

ちなみに彼女のアラナという親友は（本に出てくるよ）　
今WCTに出ているアラナブランチャードという女性です。
スレンダーでスタイル超良くてかわいくてサーフィンなんかしてそうに見えないのに
超うまい。
（ちなみ私の好きなステフもかわいいし超スタイルが良い！）

サメと言えば、
私達の友人がアボロニダイバー（あわびみたいのをもぐって取る人）をしているのだけど、
（年に３ヶ月タスマニアに行って、あわびを取るのが仕事。その３ヶ月で１年間食べていけるそう）
少し前までアボロニダイバーはオレンジ色の袋を腰にさげて、
摂ったアボロニをその中に入れながら作業していたんだけど、
研究の結果、サメはオレンジ色を見ると闘志が沸くということがわかり、
袋の色がオレンジから白に変えられたんだって。

サメは目が見えないって言うし、嘘だー！と半信半疑だったんだけど、

べサニーが襲われた時に腕にしていた腕時計と言って本に載せていた写真の時計の色が
オレンジだったのよね！キラキラする時計だったともあった。

そして、私のパートナーもSUPに乗っている時にサメにぐるぐる周りを回られた経験があるのだけど、そのSUPの色は紫とオレンジのマーブルでところどころにラメ入り。

オレンジなのか、ラメっぽいキラキラなのか？？

私はそれ以降どちらも使わないけどね。
自分のボードのオレンジの部分をペンで違う色に塗り直したのは事実です。

Speaking of sharks,
One of our friend told us orange color makes shark upset and angry.
he is an aboloni diver in tassie and they were using orange colored bag to put abolonies in before.
The color has been changed into white recentry.

I couldnt believe it because sharks cant see with their eyes.

But bethaney hamilton shows us a watch which she wore on her arm when she has got the attack in her book.
The color was orange! and it was shinny in the water she said in the book.
as soon as I read it I thought that might be correct!

Because my partner told me then he was sorrounded by a shark when he was on SUP before.
then the board color was purple and orange marble with gritters!

Orange or shinny ones?? I dont know what is true.

Whichever I panted an orange part of my surfboard with a green pen.
At least I dont have any orange or shinny on my board.
